Your first order

What happens when a customer buys: payment, the supplier order, tracking, and what is yours to do.

You need

  • A live shop
  1. The customer buys on your shop

Your product page shows the price with VAT, the variant, quantity and delivery country. Buy now hands the customer to Stripe Checkout — card details never touch this product — and back to a thank-you page with a link to track the order.

  2. Stripe takes the payment

The money lands in your own Stripe account; the platform fee is taken automatically at checkout. A receipt is mailed to the customer if they left an email.

  3. The order appears under Orders

Paid orders show up within seconds with the customer, items, what you keep and where the customer came from (which campaign, if an ad brought them). The Orders entry in the rail carries a badge when one needs you.

  4. The supplier order is placed for you

With auto-fulfil on, the worker places the order at CJ within a couple of minutes, pays it from your CJ balance and records every step under Events. When CJ ships, the tracking number is saved and mailed to the customer. Guardrails (orders per day, supplier balance floor, minimum margin) stop the worker and mark the order needs action instead of paying blindly.

Keep your CJ balance topped up so orders are never blocked; refund or cancel from the order page when a customer asks.
